Alright ladies and gents. i was talking to Russ, (the Club4g Admin. ) and i convinced him that the banner is old, and gay...lol so its finaly time to change it...its been this way forever...the gay baby blue eclipse....lets change it up! if we can give him a good car for up there, he will change it out.

i suggested putting the Car of the month as the banner, but he said they get enough attention with being on the front page (understandable) so now, all i need is some ideas, maybe a foto chop or two and we can finaly change this damn thing....lets not wait on this, lets get it goin! i'll be checking this daylie so if someone has a good change or any questions im willing to answer them.

let the games begin!

my hardcore vote is to joey's 4g. on one side could be a great side shot, like our current banner, showing his dumped stand, and on the right side, could be a great engine pic, showcasing the supercharger. or a turboed GS, on the right side, to show that GS's are here too.

as much as i loveeeee joeys car i dont think its quite fair to solidify one person in particulars 4g as the staple of our forum. i mean dont get me wrong JoeyB is a great guy and his car still makes me drool. (and no im not thinking my car is above his in any way so dont think that either) i just dont think it would be fair. cause some one would chime in and be like mine is cooler than that and

well the guys may be right about having a 4g up there that is TOO modded - we have to be careful, maybe just change the color of that one to something more common like Silver or something?

here are some pics of a slightly visually modded one - lowered, spoiler, tinted, heads/tails but that is about it. If someone wanted to photoshop one of these into something more generic w/ a different color or something that would be sweet - but these are the angles I was thinking might be cool.

this is the angle I personally think our car looks best at:

seems like if we just changed the color that would go a long way toward making it less

of course if people like what is there now then no need to start a

over it.

whatever the most people want is what we should do - this is america, after all. maybe a poll thread that has some photoshopped ideas and one of the options would also be "keep status quo"
(I think freakydeaky tried this a few months ago)

I love this ^^^idea, but that is more of a layout suggestion. Which I would totally vote for, no disrespect...however to get back on topic:

IMO we should go with a Glossy ass pic of a carbon fiber Mitsubishi logo that rotates slowly and highlights as it rotates...I'm positive we have members that can do this.

It represents the Car, the Club, and Mods. If you need it to say Eclipse you can add it underneath or layer it behind or over or next too.
