so apparently for the final year of the eclipse, all Mitsubishi is gonna do is make the se versions of both engines...no performance boost or anything. just rims and decals :/ going out silently. and on the carbuzz app this was posted on, every single person is bashing our cars. always makes me so mad but I don't feed them. just calmly know that the gsx they all want to say was the last eclipse is still nothing to our gt.

Shit happens..They did make the 4g sexy as hell! Not some funky looking car. Just needs some aftermarket to help us along the way. If people would support our plat form like they do honda we would be doing pretty damn good!

won't happen until someone starts dropping serious cash for some custom set-ups, that can then be used to produced a sellable, priced just right set up, it's not going to happen... because truth be told, eclipse owners are cheap asses... usually

don't take me wrong but there is no support from the members.. I see alot of people asking what part should be made or I'll contact a company to make this product.

I know alot of companies and 90% of them, are not interested to produce anything for the Eclipses unless They see a group buy with a deposit in advance.

For example, a member from the Nissan forum called us and asked if we can me a diffuser for the Nissan altima 07+ and i told him yes, if we have at least 15+ pre-orders with $100 deposit in advance to start the project, Yes..!
3 weeks later we recieved 20+ deposits.

sometimes we recieve calls from people asking if we can sell the eyelids for $25-$30 dollars shipped LoL.. because is a simple flat piece and easy to make.
Well, i told them if they can make an eyelids for that price, I will buy them 100+ sets from them.

Basicly!! We can make any part for the Eclipse.. carbon Fiber roof cap, Diffuser, new body kit, new CF Hood, Anything!.. but the support has to come from the members, not the Companies.

but a customer can't buy anything he can't see. if companies advertised some product options like you've mentioned (i like the CF roof idea) I bet you could get some interest and start making some money

we made a couple threads and only 2-3 people are interested in some product, i understand the part " see the product first" but members usually say " yes, i want it" but when it comes for a deposit or pay in full, they come with some excuses, that's why the 20+ min order with "$100 deposit in advance"
Produce or make parts is a big invesment..!! specially full body kits, hood or any CF part.

i think this site should be re-vamped to include other sections to the site other then forum based site entirely, such as include photopost gallery would be neat, as well as include an auction system and even maybe blog section to include latest info, group buys and etc would be nice to see

i get that everything can be put in a forum, but if your a first time visitor to the site you look for different sections of a website, not just a forum therefore having the other sections would bring more people, more surfing the site, higher traffic, higher ranking (more ad click thru for the site operator via google) which can easily bring more money to the site if money is a problem in order to add new features to the site

just a thought , if you build it they will come

the problem with the eclipse is that its a different looking car from most anything on the road. people buy them because of that. therefor they dont want to get the same aftermarket parts as 20 other people at the same time. they want to continue to be different. they want choices. but the numbers dont add up when you spread out.

this is true to a degree.. but the interest has to be there from the consumer.

This happened to me when I designed and had produced a body kit for the 3g eclipse, it was a pain in the ass. having to get 20 plus people, all to pay.
Its like this project im working on right now. The hood I designed starts today. and the over head is about 4,000$
