Mecum to auction final Mitsubishi Eclipse for charity
2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE Proceeds to benefit the Japan Red Cross for sale by Mecum Auction

It is the only Eclipse equipped with both the 3.8L/265 HP V-6 engine and the commemorative SE package, which includes special 18-inch Dark Argent alloy wheels and unique graphics. It is also optioned with a sunroof, leather interior, 650W Rockford Fosgate 9-speaker audio system with Sirius XM, hands free Bluetooth phone interface, rear view camera and HID headlights.

Proceeds from the sale of this unique 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE will go to the Japanese Red Cross to aid victims of the recent earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

no doubt they will start at the msrp of $32k for a gt-se. so i can see this going for 40-50k. nice car, just sad it had to be the automatic

Almost a million eclipses sold in 22 years and they are stopping production on it. Hopefully they see the mistake and bring it back proper.

It will be back, nothing grosses sales more than when a car returns to the market. Think of the Camaro, Thunderbird, GTO, Challenger, Charger.... I can't think of any imports that came back to the market, other than the Honda CRZ/X... I've been drinking... but still, when an automobile icon comes back to the market it $ell$.

Hopefully it comes back AWD or RWD with a couple hundred less pounds and a computer without a Chastity belt on it

I just heard of this like last night...I read that it sold for 35k and some change...It is a beautiful car...I to, think they will come back...
