I have been looking to lower my car, and I have told people that I want to lower it. They say I shouldn't do it because it would mess with the shocks and stuff like that? Are there any suggestions on what I should do, and what I should buy to lower my car?

Use the search button, because you are beating that question with a blugeon.
It is bad on your shocks, but not as bad as you think. Lets say, you could get 300xxx miles out of them. With springs, 210xxx.
You'll still have a reasonable amount of miles left.
With coilovers, they replace shocks and springs, so they are good for another 300xxx depending on how you use them.

^ i dont kno wut the fuk coal overs are but i would def go with coil overs. if u cant afford them or dont want to drop $900 then go with decent springs. eibach or tien

I would lower it, but I just decided to measure how close I get to scraping the bottom of my car when I get out of my driveway. I am a half an inch from hitting... I think I am going to sell my Eclipse and buy a 2013 Genesis Coupe R spec that has a twin scroll turbo and have 276 hp! its a 2.0L too! :0 the 3.8 V6 will have like 386 or something

Yea coal overs could be a potential fire hazard and harmful to the environment I'd go with coil overs if I were you

You just need to learn to angle the car better. My SRT4 is an inch off the gound and I have scrapped it once.

Go coilovers. You can adjust them to what ever height you want, and you and adjust your dampening. Best 1grand you can spend for the car.

If I was doing my eclipse again I would spend money on a nice set of coilovers, gotta have the Brembo brakes off the EVO, Headers with a sweet sounding exhaust, and a big shot of nitrous.... that would be one sick eclipse!.... oh wait that was mine lol.

seriously dude, sell your car and get the genesis and don't waste your money on lowering your car. you sound like you need to move on from the eclipse asap. let someone else enjoy it. every post you have been saying "i want a new car, i want a new car i want a new car". then get a new fn car and stop wasting the 4g communities time on useless posts like this.
