Is that the eclipse concept? I thought Mitsu was done with sports cars?

It's probably an AWD quad-turbo W16 engine with a flux capacitor. Just look at that intercooler, and cowl in the hood (to hide the W16 obviously).

In all reality I'm willing to bet it's just a show of various concept technologies that Mitsubishi will be applying in their energy efficient cars. Show is open to press on the 8th of February, and to the public on the 10th of February.

Look, "S - AWC = SUPER ALL WHEEL CONTROL"!!!!! Also, BOOST GAUGE built in, dead center near the tach. However a redline of 5250? Also I think that's an auto, no third pedal.

I notice the headlights look like they are designed to look like a car with eyelids ..
Interesting indeed. Don't like how long the trunk looks and they should have went with chrome or something instead of the grey on the outside.

that's a Turbo diesel direct-injected engine

if they keep the weight in check, it could be a good thing... Euro manufacturers can squeeze over 200hp out of a 4-cyl diesel...

Philly's auto show just ended and Mitsu had shit. Not even an Eclipse present. Again just current line up and the "i".

Only thing they talked about was the Evo eventually becoming something of a hybrid. Much like they previously speculated.

Makes you wonder whats next... if anything.

Subaru's BRZ stole my attention.

hmm the front looks good but the rear is a little weird, and looks like the back seats have even less room than the 4G lol

I'd so much rather have the Concept RA.

Direct Injected Turbo Diesel with something around 250hp and 350ft/lb of torque.

If Mitsubishi actually started to produce the RA, it'd be the rebirth of the GSX Eclipse in essence.

Not even close. I wouldn't even trade my 4G for a rebadged Toyota/Scion FR-S. They're literally the same car. BRZ = FR-S. Don't get me wrong, nice cars they are, but not a first born type car.

the FRS and BRZ are boy racer cars, with a TON of potential. this thing, which im surprised is being shown again... is pretty sweet.

and I believe I read somewhere that it has paddle shifters

it puts down over 300 ft lbs and nearly 210 hp its a 2.2 turbo diesel and it uses the auto trans from the evo

Its an old concept that will never be produced, so everybody stop drooling over it..

I am using it for my desktop background right now. I wish they would bring it to life..
