Well, I came to the 'dark side' after being fed up with the RIPP fanclub and all the childish arguements I got sucked into on the .com site...

I heard of c4g when I did some digging to find a good comminity for our cars. I saw a few out there but most, and I'm sure you know them, were just one big flame war. I watched this site since like sept. and really liked the way everyrthing was handled here. Everyone seems nice and always willing to help or give an opinion and I've rarely seen flamming go beyond 2 posts without an apology. As for helping bring trafffic to the site, it seems good enough that anybody looking will find it in google. and if anybody really cares about having a community for thier cars they will instantly notice how great the members here are, just as I did. I would say just keep fostering(?sp) these kinds of actions and you'll surely get traffic. and with smileys like this

how couldn't anyone not love this forum!

I kinda like it here too. But don't hold the site in such high esteem as to find yourself lost in some drama from time to time. It is the web, and we have had our fair share of petty squabbles too

I agree - to ditto what y'all have been saying over and over, we do have some really good quality people in here. I think it's great that though the site isn't as large everyone's cool with each other. I fear the day that this place starts growing so fast that it starts feeling impersonal as other big boards are.

I'm really a C3G person at heart, but since this site started picking up a couple of months ago I've found myself farther and farther from that crowd and more a C4G person. I've made some life friends over there though - something about good sites and good membership. Something I hope to get from here too.

Well... enough of the feel-good niceties. I don't wanna need to go test drive a hummer tomorrow

After spending two hours digging through you "can you help"s and "i've got a problem"s (can't you state your problem in the title?) I decided to become a member just to tell you how screwed up your forum is. I couldn't get though a single thread without it degrading into a pissin contest without answering the question. If you want more members, clean up yuor forums and make the sign up easier and more obvious. And ANSWER THE QUESTION. Thats why people come to a forum is to learn and share thier experience with others.
