New to Mitsu
Hi, my name is Alan.

My girlfriend recently traded her 2003 Eclipse GTS on a 2011 Eclipse GS Sport and is wanting me to help her with a few aftermarket things (mostly visual). While I am somewhat mechanically competent, I have no experience with Mitsubishi at all. I also don't really know anybody that owns an Eclipse besides her. I am just here to read and learn from you guys but I figured I would go ahead and say hi and introduce myself.

Here is her car. I will have more/better pics after I clean it real good and get to use a camera instead of an iPhone.

Welcome...biggest visual mod you can do is lower the thing. Changes the whole stance of the car.

Hopefully she will be up for that. But considering that the car is already fairly stiff, I imagine she probably wouldn't notice if I was somehow able to sneak them on there... lol!

I always thought the stock suspension was super soft. But anyways

Lower is a must. And wheels. The 2011 pretty much look sexy as is.

Sorry for delay in response. Just got back from a mini vacation.

We are from Tyler Texas. Its about 1.5hrs east of Dallas. I see a ton of 3g eclipses here but the 4g seems to be a little more rare here. I have seen one really nice blue (Maizen Blue I think) 4g GT a couple times. I'm pretty sure its a 2010, he was airing up his tires at the gas station across from one of the local hangout spots... I don't know where he had been but his car was so dirty it looked like he had been in an offroad rally. lol!
