yeah hes legit for sure, hes doing some custom work for me right now, and i would recommend him to anyone, don't be deceived by the ban. It wasn't necessary, that's all im allowed to say, unless i want to pay a fine.

phenom Close up:

From a distance:

They are the halos from the retrofit source, for future reference. They are really bright, in a good way.
March 9th, 2012 01:48 PM
phenom Ill take a few pics when I get home. Should have them uploaded around 6:00
March 9th, 2012 01:36 PM
Ravers I actually might be interested in these. Been wanting fog lights back for a while. And projectors? Hell, would match my headlights! Might be some motivation to build a foglight housing for my bumper.
If you coud get me a pic of the halo's with power on them, that'd be great. I Replaced the halos in my headlights with ccfl's, so i'd want them to match.
March 9th, 2012 09:42 AM
phenom I can assure you that the CCFL's will be a lot brighter and cleaner than the LED's. And the light output on these is magnificent. Has a nice crisp cit off line from what I've seen.
March 9th, 2012 09:33 AM
NitroGlisson Can't believe this hasn't sold! I am tempted. I bought a pair of the 7 color halo fog lights when I got a custom front bumper. The fogs are okay since I added the Xenon bulbs but the LED halos are pitiful.

February 25th, 2012 11:20 AM
phenom Other people who have installed them on other cars said that they had to make a little bracket to drill into, then they just bolted them up through the hole that is provided on the Projector itself. Then wire it up using the relay.
February 25th, 2012 10:59 AM
07-eclipse-newbie so what would i have to do?
February 25th, 2012 10:20 AM
phenom They would just mount up through a bracket in your bumper, but they'd just be hanging there since they are smaller than the OEM fog light hole.

Plug and Play Projector Fogs c'mon guys!

07-eclipse-newbie i would love these but i just dont have fog lights at all. so i have NO mounting for it. :/ BUMP.

February 20th, 2012 09:32 AM
phenom That's the harness that I have. So there we go, plug and play.
February 20th, 2012 07:48 AM
TemplarRadix08GT Retrofitsource.con sells the harness for them its like 30 bucks? Plug and play guys...
February 19th, 2012 08:50 PM
IraqVeteran I chopped my harness for my headlights and wired everything with that concept, seemed to work. As long as you wire up correct it should work
February 19th, 2012 08:29 PM
phenom In theory you should be able to. But I've never actually played around with the factory harness. So I can't say for sure. Someone who has the aftermarket ones from ACI should be able to answer this definitively.
February 19th, 2012 08:15 PM
IraqVeteran ^ why couldnt you just cut your fog harness at the clip and run neg to neg and the positive fog to positive/switch wire of the harness?
February 19th, 2012 07:48 PM
cmattox23 I'd really be interested if I could run it off a factory fog switch and wiring

phenom I was going to carve out the hole, mount it using a bolt with the bracket that is attached to the top of the Blazers. You might need to fab up a little bracket to put the bolt through, maybe not. Everyone who has done it says it really isn't very hard at all, and this is coming from people putting them on cars like the Prius.. if a non-modder can do it, so can you! But after it gets mounted, it just wires up using the relay that comes with it. This should allow it to run off of the factory harness. Shouldn't be too difficult an install

Edit: I forgot I had the relay. DUH
February 19th, 2012 06:05 PM
Kazyx Interested, just not sure I could pull off the install. Besides drilling a hole in the housing, were you going to use silicon to mount them and then wire into the battery?
February 19th, 2012 03:59 PM
phenom you know the drill
