1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

Went a different route with this purchase but I'm definitely satisfied with it. Taking a short break from the Eclipse for now. It's a 1972 Chevy Blazer with a 400 small block, 4 speed manual, headers, summit racing cylinder heads, 6 inch lift. Just figured I'd throw it out here to see what you guys think!

Sorry, I'm not sure why some of the pictures are showing up sideways.

Sounds like a fun toy. Congrats on the purchase. Quite a change from the 4G. No more fear of speedbumps!

I'm jealous of you! Up here in the land of road salt, rust free examples of any old 4x4s are very rare.

Thanks! It's definitely been a lot of fun. It gets really snowy where I go to college and I figured why not get something 4x4. It is quite a change but I haven't forgotten about my 4G. And no kidding! Now I don't have to go over speedbumps worrying about ripping my bumper off.

Thanks! Yeah they're kinda strange. The only downside to having this truck is that every single day I hear "What's that, a Bronco?" It drives me crazy.

It took me a very long time to find one in this condition! I had to go down to Florida to get this one and it had originally came from Arizona so there's very little rust. I plan on restoring it back to a more original form. The guy before me changed the grille, the mirrors, tailgate, and some other small things. It's definitely a needle in a haystack search to find one.

Pretty sweet, what kind of power do you figure it's putting down?

Sorry it took me awhile getting back on here, just now returning to college and getting back in the swing of things. As far as power goes I would probably say it's in the lower 300s with the torque to match it. It pulls really hard in second gear but you know how it is with the older floor shifters in trucks, takes a while to shift plus I'm still getting used to it. More power than my GS that's for sure.
