Photoshop Write-up???

Hey I just recently got Photoshop CS4 for free, (I love the army) and I was wanting to mess around with it and make a signature, but I was wondering if anyone has made up a write up on how to make things. there are a crap load of tabs in this program, and not really sure where to start. I think this would be a great write-up to have for the site, and for us new guys to photoshop wanting to become pro like ALBOE. Thanks

I can do a write up if needed. Just give me till this weekend. (message me if you want CS3 or CS4) they are legit I have unlimited keys directly from adobe. (i make it hard for hackers to do their thing and I get it for free for me and my friends.)

there are a TON of photoshop write-ups on the web....photoshop is a really deep complex program....best thing to do is just start playing

go on there main site there should be a manual for this type of stuff but im not sure .. and u said freee PS CS4 did i tell you i love you lately no homo ?

I started on a write up. People that want cs4 or cs3 pm me and ill do my thing. I should have a tut done by this weekend. Its just the main parts you will need to make a sig. or mess with a photo. Or people you can wait cs5 will be out and once out give me a day and I'll send that to you all.

Yeah tis kind of like an enterprise edition that doesn't need a reg key. Kind of like Microsoft Office enterprise. If you want a copy just send me your info in a pm and I can send it out!

give m.e a bit and ill see if i can do something for mac users if not im sorry. my version is the extended version just has a few more detailed things then his version but both are great for making sig mine has a few more advanced things (even advanced for me and iv been using adobe for 13 years) so ya i hav just the main parts sry im doing a few big projects at this time so a game group so im like trying both at the same time tomorrow ill find a few pics and i will start on making a sig for my self. should be done by this weekend.

You should try Paint Shop Pro X2, It's a bit more user friendly. But I use both. They're AWESOME programs once you get the hang of them.

Ok the tut is done tomorrow I'll upload all the pics. There r like 30ish. So ya it will take me a bit. Its very simple and to the point and just shows the basics if people want me to get more advanced then I will do a video of it to make things better.

Nice looking good man, I guess I just need to know do I have to change the size of the picture to not make it look all crazy when I make a signature? Like so it's not all streched out, or with the website automatically make it fit?

design programs are kinda tough to teach without being with the person to talk and/or show to about.. best thing to do is take a class on it.. or just sit down for a few hours and mess around with it..anything little and specific you wanna know.. you could prob google it.. or ask here.. as for your question above.. you'd have to make a new document.. (File>New..) and set the dimensions to 500 pixels wide by 120 pixels high.. set the resolution to 72 pixels if it isnt already..anything more than that is unnecessary for viewing on the web unless its gonna be viewed on a large scale.. and sigs arent..plus it'll increase your file size.. then you open the picture of your car in photoshop.. copy it.. then paste it into the new blank document..then you'd have to resize the picture of your car proportionally by clicking on the move tool (the one that looks like an arrow) and checking the box in the menu bar that says "show transform controls". Then you'll see like a dotted square around your picture with little boxes on the corners.. put your cursor on a corner (doesnt matter which) and hold down the shift button while dragging your mouse down or up to make the pic smaller or bigger proportionally.. hope that helps and isnt too confusing...
