im planning on putting a targa top on my car but i am going to put a roll cage in also so i dont mess with the structural integrity of the car. the roof on our car is part of the structure so reinforce. bet place for the cuts r right behind the front interior lights and right behind the rear interior light.

it can be done, and there are other ways of reinforcing the structure.
there have been 2 350z, and 1 370z that I know of that have done this, along with a mustang, and a few others. they didn't have roll cages. I would love to see this come to fruition

but yea i would love to see it done and even with no reinforcements it would still handle better then a downed spyder, due to the fact it still has solid bracing over the rear seats and rear window .convertibles are nice but twist . someone please grab a saw and show us =)

Lol he's the dumbass, i cant see what he's saying and he keeps typing.
Like what was said earlier the convertable is already reinforced so all we need is a wrecked 4G hardtop and cup the roof off, alil welding and its done. But the hatch/trunk might be a problem trying to get it to work.
