theres nothing you can do unless you do a re paint/re clear of the damaged areas. how bad is the damage? you MAY be able to wet sand and polish, but thats if its very minor.

paint peeling

Ok so I have a 2006 Gt pearlescent orange. I went to one dealership and they where totally useless. They said they would take pictures and what not. My car had 55K miles on it. I am also the second owner. So two weeks went by nothing. Called the dealership. Talked to the tool box service rep. He first states that paint has only 36K mile warranty. I said no it doesn't I use to sell mitsu's He then stutters his words and is like your car looks like its been painted before. I said whatever. So I just called the corporate office(1-888-648-7820) One of there reps met me at another dealership. My car gets a complete paint job!!!! So never take the dealers final word. Mitsu Corp. was very helpful and worked with my schedule. I hope this helps somebody out there. I was pretty pissed about the whole ordeal. It took a few months to get settled but it was worth it.....

Taranis is an unknown quantity at this point
Congrats! That is a very nice outcome. Hopefully the new paint job was done well and will last longer than the previous one then. =)

My 08 Black Eclipse is in the shop again to paint both side mirrors and one door handle. Paint was peeling. The other door handle was painted last fall. At first, I was told that paint is covered for 3 years or 36K miles. I only have 21K miles but a week shy from 36 months. Today, I was told that paint is covered under my 5 year bumper-to-bumper warranty. When I pick up the car on Monday, I plan on getting this comfirmed. Has anyone else been told this as well???
