ticking noise after pulley install

i installed my rre pulley last week. sometimes when i turn my car on i can hear a ticking noise and it tiicks faster as i accelerate. it goes away after a bit....but is really bothersome. anybody know what it could be?

did you check that the pulley was on right? and that everything is on good and tight? one of the bolts on the pulley wasnt on tight at first and it had something similar to that but we fixed it right away.

the noise sounds like its coming from above the tensioner...towadds the back of the bay

idk...reseat the belt? never had that prob....if your dealership is cool with mods check with them see what they say.

Mine used to do this too while it was in idle but as soon as i started driving it went away... but I havent heard this noise sense like the first month of my pulley being on...

ive read this complaint on other forums... everything says that its common, but nobody really knows what it is. it doesnt seem like a serious issue. some say its the belt itself and nothing can fix it. i wouldnt be too concerned unless it sounds freakish or un natural. its your car bro. you should know when shes tellin you "it hurts"

I hear that noise every morning, but only when i leave the car sitting there for more then half a day.

No i don't have a pulley wish i did but its a GT.
