speaker blown

my passenger side rear speaker sounds like its blown.. serious fuzz coming from it.. the one in the side panel next to the passenger rear seat..
the sad thing is, i dont even listen to my radio about around 12 on the stock vol scale.. thats not loud at all..
anyways, is this speaker easy to get at? its dark right now and im going to tackle this in the morning, im hoping it could be just a bad connection. but it sounds like a blown speaker

anybody that has removed the panel to get to this speaker, can ya let me know how so i dont have to trouble shoot it in the morning? thank you very much..

WOW! Volume 12? I cant even hear the music that low haha... I listen to it at 45 (max) and I ended up blowing both my door speakers twice! Its covered under the warrenty tho... so just take it to your dealer and they will order you a new speaker...

The body mods wont effect any warrenty besides the body warrenty... but if you have an aftermarket head unit or any other sound mods then you might be screwed on the warrenty. Ive already fucked my warrenty on everything possible besides suspension...

how long is the speaker warranty good for? My speakers on the dash sound like complete shit. Would be nice to get that taken care of.

audio components are covered for up to 3years/36,000 miles. whatever comes first.

okay so i took it to the dealer thismorning and here is what happened.. turns out i must have hit a bump or something to mess up the connection because it sounded great at the dealer. good thing its not blown.
he also told me that if it was blown it would not be covered under warranty.
so i asked him why, i am at 2 years and 20,000 miles, both below the warranty. he replied by saying if its blown, than its something they think you induce and therefore not covered..
so i said wtf is the point of putting a warranty on a speaker if the one thing that can possibly go wrong to it, you dont cover? i mean honestly, a speaker is either good or blown.. such a b.s. warranty, more for looks, because every time you want to replace something, there is some loophole and they dont want to cover it. i have noticed mitsu is notorious with this.

Thanks for the update. Probaby would just be better to get new dash speakers anyway, something of a little higher quality. Anyone have any suggestions on something resonably priced? A how-to on the install would be nice as well. I know I know, Iam asking a lot.

well there is def. a problem because the speaker is making noise again. it is either an antenna problem or the speaker wiring is messing up.... so i scheduled a appt for monday. they were already hastling me about warranty even before looking at it. mitsu is such a pain in the ass. its def. covered under my warranty, they just love to hastle people.. so anyways on my way home(its raining here). water starts dripping on my shoulder.. i look up and water is pouring in through my sunroof buttons.. now i have already been there about this too and they said there was no problem and didnt want to cover that under warranty as well... but now its doing it again. there is obviously a problem.. so i called and added that to the list for monday.. i really hate mitsubishi's service dept. right now.

^ go to crutchfield.com they're usually really reasonably priced and they send to the how to manuals for your specific car. also with headunits and stuff they send you all the wiring and the whole dash kit and how to install it manuals.

well they looked at my car today.
they could not get the speaker to make the fuzzy sound it was giving me and i believe it because it was off and on w me as well. but they are replacing it anyways..
and also my sunroof was leaking, they water tested it forever and came to this conclusion. when the car was build, the system to divert the water outside the car and also the draintube was put in backwards actually diverting water into the car. lol wonderful. but either way they are fixing all of it for free.
