na man i race evo 9s and i stick up with them that the second stock evo 8 i killed the evo 9s r alittle bit faster than evo 8s my bro has a evo9 and when we raced both of us stock i was at his back door the whole time.

They do... they run the quarter mile in 13.5 stock... aint no way a GT with a catback beats an Evo unless the driver doesnt know how to drive...

ok im going to try to find a vid of me and my bro back in the day when he was stock and i was stock and my bro is a good driver ran a 12.7 in a qaurter mile with just intake turbo back exhaust and boost controller tuned at 23 pounds.

i think the only reason the evo runs a 13.5 stock is cuz its awd. it doesn't have the traction problems we do. a stock evo 8 is probably only what 240hp to the wheels??

I think some ppl are forgetting that the EVO is AWD which means from a roll it kinda sucks and it has alot more drive train loss also

The trick to race an Evo and win is to start the race at Roll over 40. Why? becuase after a while the turbo wont do much for the Evo and now is a matter of HP. If you try to race an Evo from a dig, or lows 40, 4get it you wont get close. They are litghter and awd, by the time u catch the evo the race is over.

Another trick is if u want to race from a dig, race in a long range race giving the 4G momentum and be able to use all gears, but by that time you maybe over 100mph, so I know it will b a stupid race lol.
