Car is getting slower

I got down to a 15.1 and stuck there tonight - could not get ANY faster than that for some reason my 60 foot was stuck at 2.42 and above which is HORRIBLE granted the humidty was HORRIBLE due to the upcoming hurricane that will be hitting this weekend and it was raining off and on all day.

Did not matter what tires I was on, Lexani or my Fusion HRi's so I'm going to tear my car apart and clean the motor out, plugs, etc and try again...it's been getting progressively worse, from a 13.8 to a 14.4 to a 14.7 to a 14.9 and now it's at a 15.

At least I got my 100 MPH Street Legal NHRA sticker from when I did run my 13, mrs betty saw me at the track tonight and remembered my time and gave it to me.

I have 90% more suspension mods done that most people do, but engine wise it's about the same.

I think the following factors are killing me...

1) The humidity, there's a hurricane about to hit, everyone was running almost a second 1/2 to second slower last night.

2) My timing belt is over due by 40k miles

3) My car just needs a tune up pretty bad (Plugs, Oil Change, Tranny Flush, etc) - it's not acting efficient

4) Heat, when I was sitting in the pits and the dragsters turn on their motors it all heads towards my car and super heats my car - I went from a cold motor to a hot in about 15 seconds when a vette started his motor next to me.

Funny thing is after I left the track, went and launched my car and bam, it was like it was alive again - I swear my car is a female on PMS

Not last night apparently - if I could have gotten my 60 foot down I would have at least gotten a low 14 out of the night but shit, wasn't no amount of tweaking my car that enabled that - everything from dropping tire pressure to running different intake configurations...

PS.

2 Runs, Helo Wheels, Lexani Tires, CAI Form - 15.1
2 Runs, Helo Wheels, Lexani Tires, SHORT RAM Form - 15.3
2 Runs, Stock wheels, Fuzion HRi Tires, CAI Form - 15.1
2 Runs, Stock Wheels, Fuzion HRi Tires, SHORT RAM Form - 15.3

So that just proves what I've been thinking about pulling engine bay heat...I know I need to make a block off for the engine bay to seperate it from the fog light because the efans are blowing hot air right at everything. I could not even touch my CAI piping it was so hot last night.

lol - when the winter hits it disappears for a month or so which is usually when I set my record E/T's for every car...:|
