And not just any EVO... an EVO MR. It was a 2006 black EVO MR. Hum... Black MR vs. Black MR.

lol so anyways.. the guy is in my class in college and the car is completely stock and I'm not... so there you go. We raced 6 times. 4 times from a 60 roll and 2 from a 40. I pulled so hard on him it wasn't even funny. on the third race I even waited till I heard the turbo spool before I laid in on the gas and I still got a good 2 cars on him!

End of storie. Carl, mad props for being the first EVO roll race killa.

Yea you would leave him crapping his paints.

I mean you could say it was unfair cause I have every bolt on minus a tune and he was stock.. but whatever I have less then 1500 bucks in power making parts right now... take out the FIC and I have about 800 worth of powermaking parts that are being used.

No I hear ya that he is stock, but I just thought he would at least keep up/kill a stock/any bolt on eclipse around. my bad I guess. I do believe you though dont get me wrong I guess I just didn't realize how quick I really am now lol. even more so in the jump department when I put full meth in

Don't rule out bad driver... but I killed him pretty bad that I don't think there is much he could do... I wish I could get it on film. Maybe I can get it one day.

Oh and I don't think you don't believe me... I really don't care if people do or not. These cars have ass loads of tq and bottom end and If you know how to use it then youwill be suprised what the Eclipse "can" do. Of course it's not the fastest thing on the road and an EVO is easier to mod... but I kinda like having a different car sometimes. Especially when it can hold its own pretty good.

Also people look at drag times and they don't understand that Traction is an EVO's best friend where it's our worst enemy.

Also Hac.. don't think I'm saying this stuff cause I don't think you know it... .I'm just saying it to say it.

If we had a better after market we could do amazing things with this car.

lol no I get ya. I understand all of what you are saying, and it would be satisfying to kill an evo 8 or 9 here but they are still kind of rare as the bumper rules only got let up about 2 months ago. allowing those into Canada legally, or I should say there were like 15 in all of Canada legally before they changed the laws the first time.

Once again... Traction. I bet I trap more then a stock EVO MR. and with some DR's and a new clutch and a tune I bet I could hit a 13.3 no problem.
