new build, need suggestions
Ok so I had Taylor Swift, for almost a year now.
![]() ![]() ![]() A guy had a nice deal for wheels, so I bought them. Only thing is they are all not the same color, 2 are bronze, 1 chrome, and 1 gunmetal. ![]() So I am going to paint them myself, because I can not afford the $150 per wheel for power coating. Need help on choosing the color to paint them, was thinking bright green, but not apposed to red, blue, purple or going the safe route and painting them all gunmetal. ![]() Also as you can see in the pic, my car suffers from 4x4 syndrome. Need suggestions for lowering springs. |

If this was a 1990's rally car, white would have been an option. I could just say eff it, and leave them all the different colors.
Your wheels are nasty dude, what size are they?

I've had Tein S-tech lowering springs on my car for about two weeks now and I love them! Definitely recommended! and I'd go with black rims, you can never go wrong with black and yellow

x2 on the S-Tech's, they are awesome. But since your car is yellow, you can't really rock green or red. I'm feeling black or white honestly. I love colored wheels, but they just don't work on the solars bro

Nice pikachu. Taylor swift is a terrible name for a car or person, probably because i hate her lol. Wheel color you should go black or gunmetal. Springs you should go tein s techs all the way

18x8 +35 offset
It'll look great with the stock GT tire specs 235/45R18 but if you want low profile tires, you need 19" or 20" or else, the hideous gap will once again greet you even with lowering springs. There's a member here from Cali who has lowering springs and 20" wheels but paired up with super skinny tires so the end result is a gap where even Popeye can stick his ugly mug into. ... and paint them white.

Things to consider about dropping your car are the fact that a low profile tire will not give ANY cushion at all to pot holes, so you will be thrown around like a little girl whenever you hit a bump, and if you go too low, when you do hit a large enough bump, or speed bump, you will be scraping your fending on the ground and your front bumper.

So a day later inspected the buttons, and missed a few spots
![]() Also it feels like it will scratch off easily, so I ordered a clear top coat for wheels on amazon. Lets see next week, for paint rd2..

why are there spots all over your rim. Paint it one more time, take your time and do it right so you dont have any more missed spots. Also you need to clear it good to protect it before driving on it.

it feels like it will scratch off easily because the paint hasn't really set yet. it's dry to the touch but it doesn't mean it's cured. give it one or two weeks
