Good luck man :)

why thank you sir, i am hoping to connect with a few 4ger's in OKC

#4 ·
Yeah, well that makes two of us trying to connect with the locals

Is the move for work?

#5 ·
nope, dad had a nasty divorce, and somehow managed to keep the house but he is on retirement and disability so he asked me to come help him with the bills and such

awwww... the good son. Betcha he's also got a garage and tools, huh? :p

#7 ·
amazingly enough he does, thats so wierd you would bring that up lmao "oh baxter, you really know how to cut to the core of me" - Rob Burgandy

 Well, that's one of the perks of moving back in with the 'rents... yeah the full-size washer/dryer, home-cooked food, comfy couch, and breakfast ready and served in the morning are all good...

... but the GARAGE, man. Well worth the parental oversight and occasional bitching. :p

Believe it or not, Wichita had a strong import and car scene. A good blend of domestic vs. import. Proof of this @ WichitaRacing.com... But see the great thing about moving in with my dad is he can't say crap cuz he asked ME to come back

ya, all that flat land, I'm sure theres a few flat roads too.....perfect temp for racing too, most of the year I'm sure.......don't you guys just herd a few cows out on the road and that closes down like the entire town, then you guys can street race all you want right out there in nowhere land........

here in utah, if its not snowing, they're fixing massive potholes, or caverns made in the roads from snow.........the racetrack here is like a cheese grater looking thing......

lol see the thing is, the nearest cow is like, psh, at least 5 miles away lol. Between Kansas, Oklahoma, and Dallas/Ft. Worth area there is a strong rivalry, it is quite interesting. But there are some great long stretches of awesome pavement and asphalt out here

... and nothing but straight, open flatand roads in between. :)

In contrast, I personally am in love with the route through TN and KY. Twisties and scenery hold more value to me than the straightaway.

i am also a fan of the turns, I am a so-cal foothills native myself

yeah that is awesome. I love I-35 south bound into OKC. 22 miles of the cable in the middle of the highway and NO bridges or overpasses, no places for cops to hide or turn around to chase... at 3am there is NO ONE ON IT at all, bouncing off the rev limiter on an empty road for miles is awesome
