So me and 360jeepboy just came up with the idea that would should have a meet in Pigeon Forge, TN! Great place to go to, would be awesome if we could get some 4g-er's together from this area. No date is set, but it will obviously be when it's warmer, such spring or summer. Probably around May-August time, somewhere in there. First we gotta get a list of people interested in coming, and idea's of what we can do. Such as just make it a one day thing, or hang out for a weekend, or whatever. Idea's are welcome [and needed]. Post if your interested in having a meet here!

Date - June 5-7
Plan - Rent own rooms at a cheap motel [$40-60ish]. Drive up on Friday [the 5th], go eat breakfast together on Saturday morning [the 6th] and hang out, do the meet, spend some time in Pigeon Forge, whatever, then on Sunday [the 7th] head home.

I'd be willing to drive up to TN for a meet. I'm in FL and just need to know dates 'cause I work in the ER and our schedules come out at 6 week intervals.

Well I live in KY and I can't really drive much farther than I already am. Pigeon Forge, TN will be the place.
hsalter3, as far as the dates, they are not set yet. I assume that it will be sometime between May and August, but the date will most definitely be posted way before it's time for it. Would be great to see anyone there that can make it, and it will probably be a weekend event, if that's what everyone wants to do.

I live in Frankfort, KY, Pigeon Forge wouldn't be too far away from me. I'd be down for a nice trip maybe in the summer...when it's not 12 degrees out side. Turbo is going on next month when I get my financial aid refund, and when I get my tax refund I'm going with D-speed kit with the new VIS carbon fiber hood.

Under normal circumstances, this is a doable drive for me.

anywho, back on topic bitches. Pigeon forge is 530 miles from vagina beach. I can make that in 7 hours....not a bad drive at all. My problem is my employer. Our schedules change alot, and often on short notice... this makes it very hard to plan around. If you guys come up with an exact date then I'll see if I can do something.

That would be great! The only thing that would really matter is setting it on a good date. We just have to make sure nothing else big is going on, or we will have a headache trying to find a place to stay.

That is the only big thing. Everything else is just up to if people come or not..

Just looking at a calendar, and was thinking maybe June 5-7...maybe? Like all head up there on the 5th, and meet on the 6th for breakfast and hanging out somewhere then maybe breakfast on sunday as well and head back on sunday too. A cheap, 2 star-ish motel would be great. Like 40-60 bucks a night or something, all of us rent a room there. Anyone else have a better idea?

June is a great month to be in the mountains.....i can just imagine the weather now.

lets try this.... lets go ahead and stick with these dates for a while and see what kind of interest we get. I'll mark this on my calendar now and see what I can do in reference to scheduling.

I would already get friday and saturday off, and i work 3rd shift so i would be back in time sunday. Works great for me haha. June 5-7 will be the date's as of right now, summer time would be best down there, no school for anyone to worry about either.
