First-ever Houston Thread!

Hi everyone,

Glad that we finally have an alternative site to the "other" boards. I see a lot of 4Gs down in Houston these days, and in fact have tried directing them to Club3G.com several times before. It's nice to finally have a place that's 4G to send 4G folks to.

So I guess this should serve as some kind of roll call --- who you are, what part of town you're from, what trim/color/mods of a 4G you've got. And even if you're not a 4G owner, post up anyway and let yourself be heard!

Always nice to have a good mix of folks in here.

So this, I guess, will be the jump point for future local events and meets. Welcome, everyone!

So I guess I'll start.

I'm a dot-com guy, and have been registered for more than six years. I own both a turbocharged 6G72 SOHC 5M/T 3G and a currently N/A 6G75 6M/T 4G. I live in the North side of town (Conroe/Woodlands) and work off 249 and Louetta.

I'm from Katy, which is a subdivision around Houston. I have a Satin Messiah Eclipse GT with HKS axleback exhaust.

Most people know where Katy is man. You should come to the C3G/4G Austin meet in April. There will be 2 other 4Gs there already.

Haha... yeah. Well, there doesn't seem to be a huge presence of us C4G folk around Houston. It's unfortunate since it's really such a great car. If anything, the nazis at the other site might have more of a following. I've seen several 4Gs with light mods around town... not too many, I'm afraid. But that's ok.

Delight in the fact that Eclipses aren't Civics that people are so hot to mod. Not a lot of "modded" 4Gs out there mean you can be unique in your own right

I'll be joining Aaron up in Austin (who FYI just also traded up from a 3G to a 4G the beginning of the year!)

I just bought a 4g eclipse from Conroe, TX this past Saturday.

I live NE of Houston, E of Humble and I work in N Houston off bltwy 8 and Hardy.

I bought a Red w/Black Leather Interior 07 Eclipse GT V6 A/T, fully loaded.

I am surely going to try and get the money together for the April trip, hopefully i can. There is also a guy from baytown, I am going to meet up with him this weekend and check out each others cars. I'll grab pics of my car this weekend as well.

Cool beans! And since you're in NE Hou metro, go search for McLarenRoss. He's from C3G, and a great guy all around to hang with. He's from Shepherd. There are other C3G folk from around Houston as well.

I'm anticipating we'll get turnout from the same folk at the meet.

I brought a rave red GT last week. I'm in San Antonio and looking for folks to hang out with. I have had two 2g eclipses and I also own a 2000 z28. Provided that I'm not in Japan in April, I'm definitely headed to Austin
