Did you go see it? How was it? I am eager to hear a review, it looks very good. I like Jim Carey as an actor too, and a horror flick is something new that I'd like to see how he manages.

It was amazing! Seeing Jim Carrey playing in a serious/thriller type role just solidifies what we already knew - that he was an amazing actor. I wouldn't say it was a horror film so much as a mystery/thriller. Not what I expected for an ending. It was great. I would recommend seeing it for sure.

ReallY I watched it at home last night, and I have got to say I was more then dissapointed.

There was really more then one time there I could have fell asleep.

To me it seemed they stretched whatever they could in there to make things 23(and no thats not a spoiler for anyone who hasnt seen it). I mean really really hard. Not to mention you could really base around any number(of course we all know this but in this movie it didnt work)

The story really never moved fast enough for me either. It always seemed I was praying for something good to happen.

The acting was bad in this movie, with the exeption of jim carey.

All in all I wish I could have my hour and a half back.

I know there will people who liked it. If your taste is anyhting like mine in movies though, this movie wont do it.

I guess its great. You know if you like that kind of movie. You know the kind that:
-lacks any real plot
-lacks any real good acting
-goes nowhere fast
-doesnt tie anyhting together, so you feel dumber after watching it, just for watching it.

I know I could go on, but it wasnt as bad as hellboy so it doesnt deserve to be totally drilled to the ground lol.

My guess is as more people see it you will see the same result I said.

I read a very interesting book that talked a lot about the number 23 and the "Law of Fives" (2 +3 = 5...). It's called the Illuminatus Trilogy and is a very good read. I highly recommend it, although it's about 4 inches thick.

I haven't seen this movie though.

I saw it with my girlfriend. Thank god I snuck some liquor in with me. The beginning was cool with the camera angles when he first started reading the book, I thought they did a really great job with the cameras. That was the best part of the movie though. I mean it all made sense at the end, it all fit, it was just retarded. He could make anything he wanted into 23 by multiplying, dividing, even getting it to make 32, 23 backwards, and somehow it still freaked him out with it being backwards. I just didn't like the story line. I like Jim Carey as a serious actor, and a comedian, just this movie was shit. Maybe 3 out of 10, if your drunk that is.
