deleted thread?

I had a thread in the non auto FS section, it is now gone. anyone know what happen??? it was about my two time shares, and it was looking like someone may be interested. i got an email that he bumped it, clicked the link and it said it is no where to be found. i tried searching etc, and it cannot be found. when i clicked the link in my email it gave me an option to question admin, i did, and have received nothing. whats the deal? to delete a thread with no warning, notice, notification, or reason issued is absurd; please educate me on what took place?

it may have, i dunno, but it would be nice to know why. kinda messed up that no reason or a notification was given. if it was due to something specific i wont make another one, but perhaps it was a mistake and i should make a replacement.

Was there a picture displaying proof of ownership associated with your thread? If not, I delete them.

Russ, no it did not. i agree rules are rules, however, what my thread did have, was a direct question within the thread; asking how to make it abide by the rules since obviously this a little more than a "special case". these questions went unanswered, i feel they should have been addressed before all traces were deleted off the face of the world wide web. also, did you notice the moderator of the section saying he wasnt sure how/if a picture was necessary, given the situation, and he let it remain open? i was assuming he was letting it stay alive, until either you or another mod helped us figure out what needed to be done...since it was asked more than once.

i'd also like to know, what happen to the message i sent to admin regarding my missing thread? did it get lost or was it just ignored? do we always need to start a thread to get an answer? im sure itd be easier since you dont accept PMs, but if this is the case, i think it fair we know for future reference since waiting days is a little more than frustrating, especially since someone was interested. if so, maybe itd be wise to delete the "send admin a question" link, since its worthless, a waste of time, and giving false expectations.

its not like like i didnt ask "how to make the thread legal", seeing as my flying out of the country to take a picture with my info on a piece of paper and the property, is a out of the question. i find it a little harsh that it was just deleted with out a notice, warning of some kind, or a recommendation of how to solve the problem in the future (which most other threads get); specifically since myself and a moderator were unsure.

i know im ranting here, but i truly wonder why my thread wasnt just locked (like what happens to other threads), my question answered, and i given a chance to fix it per the answer to my question. since when do we delete threads in their entirety.

another concern i have, is that i was very close to making another thread; identical to the original. if i had done this, it would have seemed as though, i was blatantly trying to break the rules and i probably would have been treated as such. this worries me, because my actions would have been innocent, and only a resulting factor of my unanswered questions.
