IMHO.... There are alot of bad ass cars on the site. Im sure theres alot more than it used to be before my days. I see a decent amount of rides that should be COTM but it sucks that you can only pick 6 PER YEAR!

If you look back... some people get nominated once or twice then you never see their car nominated again. Thats because so many good quality cars with potential are popping up all over the place like babies in China. Theres no way we can possibly show them all recognition if we do 2 month intervals. This forum is only gonna get bigger. I personally think its big enough to go to one month. Anyone beg to differ? Lets Discuss....

6 per year makes it just that more special

There is a small following of 4th Generation Eclipse enthusiasts, we do not want to get to a point of desperation with who gets COTM.

I doubt there will be desperation to find a COTM... but at the rate we are going itll take like 5yrs just for some guys to get the recognition they deserve.. Maybe it wud mean a little more too if like more than 5ppl voted you know? it gets a little drawn out to stair at a car for 2 months just because it recieved a whopping 5 votes

My son is a member of an Evo forum and a Lancer forum and I think they pick one car a month to make forum calendars featuring those cars.

I understand where you are coming from Russ, but I have to agree with the others. One car per month would be better. I don't think it would cheapen the COTM status. Look at it now. We have had an average of 4 cars per vote the last few months. Thats 48 cars a year that deserve recognition. At that rate it would take 8 years just for those people to get recognized. It's not like you are giving away money or trophies. It's just someone getting their car on the front page of the forums for a month.
