Angry really getting frusturated...

idk why, but when i try to log on, it glitches back to the home page saying im not logged in...but if i click on the 'Forum' button up top, then it goes to the forums and im logged in. but it doesnt ever register. then i try to open up my Private messages and it says 'you need to be logged in to do that' and i type in my info, hit log in, and it says the SAME damn thing. so i cant check my messages cuz 'im not logged in' but if your reading this post, i obviously am logged on....and not to mention i cant see any of my User CP stuff...i cant see ne new posts, or my messages....and its makin me mad. this all started about the same time that all the other problems with the site happened...so idk if its still in fixing? but i have never had a problem with it until the homepage went down...and now it has never been the same.

A few things off the top of my head, 1) what browser are u using? Perhaps its one that the admin hasn't tested with. As you can expect, all browsers will act differently to a given site/web app. 2) Do you have your settings to allow cookies? Sites using authentication usually need cookies allowed for it to work properly. shoot, you have 'read-only' sites using cookies too now-a-days... 3) Are you using one of those 'stealth' mode settings some of the the newer browsers offer? (i.e. ie8 or 9?) DOn't know how 'stealth' works exactly but I'd figure it'd have to do with not leaving any traces behind. Perhaps this may be screwing with your authentication.

hope that helps.

yeah man it has to be how your security settings are configured. sometimes your browser/computer will download and update automatically w/out you knowing...it does sound like you aren't allowing cookies or something like that....try a different browser and see if that helps at all

Before going into the whole nine about checking this and that, joey's right. You should try another browser and see if that works, might be the simplest solution to see if your default browser is the problem. Plus, you'll able to use your messages for purchasing, etc now instead of waiting for it to be fixed.

BTW, let us know which browser you're having the problem with, it may be important if its some less common one. I'm using IE9, no problems here.
