i haven't done any searchers to see if this has been brought up, if it has sorry, but i think it would be very nice if i could post all the pictures of my car inside my profile. not sure if im using the right terminology as i have never done work on forums.

but i.e.

im browsing i thread. i see someone bragging about a mod on their car. It would be kick ass if all i had to do is click the avatar, it would then open up there profile. and in there profile they would have a gallery. then all i have to do is drool at the pics the have up.

I have yet found out how to post pictures in my own picture gallery. does this exist?

They just added a pretty good Garage section...all the way at the top of page next to calender and arcade...people can post pics of there cars and such...but I agree would be nice if you could click there name on a post and it would pop up...Im sure Russ could do something like that

lol, no one just saying i would like to see other peoples pictres a lot easier.

i see the garage section ill have to investigate. would be a lot easier to just click the avater though

Ok maybe I am dumb but I went to the edit my garage filled out the info. Now when you select file to upload and the file is in the box. The only button you can select is submit and well the photo doesn't get uploaded when you hit submit?????

ya if we do that it'll be like our own little myspace pages for our cars......or you could just put a link to cardomain or myspace in your sig line.....

You can post pics on your profile. Go to usercp, then under vbGarage, upload profile pictures. You have a total file size limit determining the number of pictures you can upload (not sure what it is.

Some members used to do that, so I'm not sure if the feature still works.

ok i went and tested the vB garage...not impressed with the formating. ill try to find another forum that may have what im trying to describe so guys can see what i mean. im sure there has to be a simpler way. im even willing to donate to script writers to help make this happen.

and yes it would kinda be like your own myspace page....sorta. you know how if you on someone's myspace page you click photos and it brings you to their photo page. i think it would be awesome if you click someone's avatar picture...there is a photo page. nothing fancy where people can edit colors and crap. just a spot to host your images..

please keep in mind i have never worked with forum scripting, so i dont know how complex it would be to do this. maybe its been brought up and to hard to accomplish. i would be willing to help if this is the case, because i think it would be a huge plus.

yeah i tried the whole cardomain, and i even have a link to it in my sig. thats what i was going to do, and its what sparked my creating this thread. i dont think its necessary to have to do all that. when/if we could just have our own picture page.

ive got my garage going...but after i choose my pic and click and hit submit it doesnt save. what am i doing wrong its driving me nuts

You know, all you're saying is true. There seems to have been some change(s) recently that threw some of these features off. Sorry

In fact, I'd even add to the laundry list of ideas (that I think I may have suggested a while back).

If you go to mp3car.com, mouseclicking on usernames on posts reveals a short "mod list". Makes it a little bit more interactive. Perhaps if there were a way... and I'm not sure if vB allows for such code... to do an expandable dropdown (tree?), that would be a great improvement, and make the boards feel a little more "interactive" than static.

... If that even makes sense...

I think I know what you are getting at, and we would have to upgrade the forum software to achieve that. I've been sort of holding off on that because it takes a lot of time to retain the current look of this forum.

yeah its hard to explain so i hope you know what i mean. is there anything i can do to help? i used to build web pages but only in HTML and CSS, I'm not familiar with VB. i know a lot of peeps have donated to the site...I haven't yet, but after being here awhile i like it, and would like to contribute by donating or putting in work.

this is something i really think everyone would love, it would be a huge hit. ive been doing some research to see how to make an iphone version of the site to. this would be really sweet
