Lockdown
i've joined another forum for the truck. (this is the only one for the spyder)
the site i joined is a locked down site, witch means you can go to it, but you have to join to view threads and stuff. why cant we do this? i mean 19 members 34 guest? there is always more guest than members and this would make more people join and be a part of something

What's wrong with people just being able to come here to browse the content without joining? Besides, that's how we get our money for the site from hitting them with all the ads.

Honestly there's a latent benefit to having people peruse the site without joining. Cuts down on all the crap we have to moderate.
It's enough that we have spammers. Imagine people posting random stuff just to see threads.
