Yep, basically instead of having to maintain 500 different websites worth of garages, you all hit a central database off site (data back up made easy hehe).

So, lets say instead of me having to remake my entire garage page again on here, I can just "park" my car here and all my details will be added instantly.

Check club9g.net/forums/ for an example...

I put mine up there as an example, see I just saved about 30 minutes worth of work, and you saved about 30mb worth of disk space and bandwidth.

The disk space and bandwidth doesn't matter to us. I have limitless amounts of both.

I just want this site to be integrated into that network.

Ah, it will integrate into any vBulletin software and it will always be updated by him.

The owner of the stuff is cool, and isn't going anywhere (like vBGarage).

It also means faster loading pages, because there is less SQL activity.

Just need to inform the masses.

I sent him an email asking if I can integrate more than one site. I want to add MitsuOAFL and MitsuOAMA. Then talk to the folks over at Club3G and see if they want in.

I'm the owner of vHoist.com, and I usually sign up to new sites using vHoist.com so I can get some feedback on the product!

Russ: I got your email, and replied. I will add the sites for you manually, and will also program it so that you can do this in the future. I also run a few car forums myself, and having me add them manually isn't always convenient

I know there is a bug right now with the voting, dropping you guys back to the vHoist site, which it should *NOT* be doing. I will be fixing that tonight. Several other sites have complained. vHoist is my hobby right now, so my real job pays the bills and we have been busy the last couple weeks!

I don't publicly release email addresses on the site, and there's no way for anyone to see your email address (That i'm aware) so I'm not sure how that would effect anyone?

if you can point me to where you see the email addresses publicly posted, then I will be happy to remove them. That should never happen. It may be a mistake on my part, or could be a coinsidence? I have 4 "accounts" on vhoist, and they rarely receive spam. Again, it could be somethign that I'm unaware of!

Regardless, i will look into encrypting the email addresses in the database, shouldn't be that difficult.

If you email me directly if you need it changed immediately, otherwise look for the fix this evening.

Again, your email address is NEVER shared on our site and is not accessible by any outside source. I only ever use it to send you notifications about comments to your ride.

Don't forget to "Park" your rides here. I noticed a few Mitsu's are signed up and not 'parked' anywhere, and I would assume they are from here since you are one of the only mitsu forums (so far)

As a note of critique, that's sort of gets complicated to do. When you click on add/edit, it just takes you to your profile then you have to click on your car to realize that you have to park it. Perhaps the add/edit should automatically park your car from the sponsored site instead of having to search for that link to do that.

Well I added myself to the vhoist site, and my car saids Parked ON, but when I come here to Club4g, it says this user dont have any car parked. o_O

i set mine up as well. but when i click "vHiost- car pictures and images" from the main forum index, it brings me to page one. one page one i can view everyone starting with dergoma and ending at nick. i dont show up anywhere unless i use the search box and type in "mattman". any idea why?

Manny you might have done this already but go into your member's area and click on your vehicle. Then under the tab labeled "parked" click on C4G.

i think he fixed it so its automatic, i didnt do any "parking". it just took awhile for it to update on .org. its a great system...PROPS!!
