lower suspension
hi guys
I own a 2006 eclipse and I want to put spring on it to go lower, but my car has 137 000km and I own this vehicle only for 2 months so I do not know if it was the original shock. My question is that my shocks are too old or too much mileage to be to lower the suspension is it better to change the springs or shock and has 137 000km I could make time with a new lower springs? |

Ok try searching!
You can lowar at anytime no matter how high your mileage is. Your struts will blow eventually no matter how much you drop I've been dropped 2 years now and I put my springs on at roughly 100k mi and I've not blown a strut yet with a 2.5 inch drop. Please don't ask what springs are good bc there are 1000000000009 threads about that already!

welcome to the club fat lemon - Hope Montreal's weather is nice right now
I am guessing english is not your first language . I know the Search is not very user friendly but try using it a bit first and when you next post a question make sure to state that you have searched first that way you don't get "told" many times you should have used search. I see you have already been given good advice by MFTK and dsm2mivec and they were nice but others may not be so nice -

Props for at least posting in the proper section. Most members can't even do that. But try searching for sure. Seems like you've gotten your answer already. Make sure to e-rep the members that helped you. It's two buttons from the left of the report button.

Bon Jour! Ça Va?
You might as well replace both the springs and struts while you are in there. It saves you from having to do the whole thing again when you do decide to replace your struts. I always like to do everything at one time.

exactly, thats why you should with coilovers.
and they still allow you to adjust higher or lower as you desire later on.

If you can afford coil-overs that would be best and allow you to adjust to any drop you wish and control the stiffness of the ride. I dropped with Eibach Pros and did replace my struts when I did it and have had no issues but still want coil-overs
