Yes finally I have found the time to make my own thread for my baby. I got her during summer before my senior year of high school, my parents helped me with the down payment as a early graduation gift haha, so yeah I had no graduation party, but I do pay for everything on my own including everything that I have down to the car so far :wiggle: Anyways after trolling the forum for around 2 years and becoming a registered member for almost a year now I have finally decided to make my own ride thread. When first purchased she had 26k miles and completely stock, shes now coming up on 51k miles :mecry: I plan on keeping her till she falls over and dies :bigthumb: Anyways I thought I'd show you some current pics :naughty: and a current and future mod list. I don't want to sound like an idiot, but where did u get the battery tie down? Those are not factory are they? My GS didn't have one and my GT doesn't either .. I've tried to google it, but I've had no luck!

are you talking about the blue metal thing in the middle of the battery because yeah that came with it when i bought it im pretty sure its stock, but those other things that actually hold the battery down ( the long metal sticks with a bend) i had to bend those on a vicegrip around 1 3/4's of and inch so it would clamp down right...lol it was a pain in the ass

wow man. great job on the silver bitch. for whatever reason they are the hardest to make look good to me and you nailed it. cool that you spent time to do the painting the engine bay parts and do them well. lovin it and keep it up.

you should get the redline tuning hood props. they would dress up your engine bay even more, and make it look WAY better then that shitty ass stock prop

nice clean ride! you must already be sick hearing this but lower that 4x4 truck pls :) also looks like you haven't done the coolant TB bypass yet

its not that the blue is bad..but not placed properly i think. for one the red and blue engine area makes me think of superman..lol you should paint the valve cover black and leave the letters white. that would neutral out your blue under there. also if you get hood props, dont paint them blue please. seatbelt pads also a no no for me. get a real harness from autocity imports or ebay and they should come with legit pads on the harness. last but not leastthe chrome trim is a good idea but you will eventually need to replace it so be prepared to re-paint the ralliart section when you do if you used plastidip because its gonna peel. happy modding!

well i like it the way it is lol my car is superman :) and i was planning on painting the engine a color but not sure what...the pads everyone so far besides you has given me compliments on saying its comfortable...not sure if people would enjoy buckling down to a 4 or 5 point harness everytime they got in my car...i know i wouldnt. i mean maybe if it was some 11 sec 10 second rocketship hell yeah i woukd have a roll cage and everything. but just like everybody elses car its about what i like although i do value you opinion and you taking the time to write on it :)

Edit: btw it wont peel because if placed correctly like i did right before the plastidip starts you wont have any problems..and this shit sticks let me tell ya haha

lol its all good. theres stuff on my car that people knock too. i dont hate your car or think its ugly at all though. its coming along nicely. just giving my 2 cents is all. :)
edit:to everyone else--also the chrome trim is a great idea for anyone having trouble getting their plasti-dip lines straight. you could also get black strip if you dont want chrome but yeah this may be what i do in black
