Well, springs are cheaper, by a Mercedes worth, u can get springs for like $150, but if ur getting coilovers ur looking at around $900, but the performance, life, and modifications of the coilovers are unmatched by springs, so it pretty much depends, if u wanna go hard, or go home, I didn't change my gap for the longest time cuz I didn't want to go home:/ and when I get back from Afghanistan I will finally have money for both wheels and coilovers

 

ok yeah ill go with the springs for now, to save alittle money, then later on ill go for the coilovers

just so u kno the aero is insanely loud and raspy. i had 2 resonators in with an aero and it was still annoying.

Just a second opinion on the aero... I freakin Love it! I have a gt, but if anything, that should mean yours is not as loud. Its not too loud to me and honestly i think the pitch sounds aggressive. Alot better than i was expecting for a universal muffler, but hey, that just means a great sound for cheap :headbang:

 

I have it straight piped right now, so it'll cut down on it alittle

 

no it will not believe me. an aero muffler has no packing material. all it is is a shell. it is just as loud as cutting your muffler off.

 

What kind of paint did you use on your fuel door? It's the exact look I want to go for. I tried some paint that they claimed was chrome and used it on my window scoops. But it looked more like a silver or grey than chrome.

 

when i took that pic it made it look chrome because it was still wet, once it dried it changed to a gloss black :/ i was hoping it was going to stay that color

The car looks good man. I saw the repainting of the rims thread and calipers. They look really good and unique. Like you said earlier on my STech thread. Lowering is coming soon!!! It is so simple but makes such a huge difference in the car.
Also, how hard was it to make a custom CAI?

yeah i can't wait till i order the springs and get them on

and the intake it took i think about 1 1/2 hours to do, the hardest part was cutting the stock intake for the MAF sensor, you have to make sure you have enough plastic on it to get a coupler on it

final results, ran out of paint to do center consol, so will do that later. . . but have matching pedals, and matfching seats coming soon
